Mayor Greg Fischer and the Easter Bunny were on hand Saturday to dedicate "Pet Wants on the Avenue."

The store is located on Frankfort Avenue near Mellwood Avenue in an all-brick building.

The business makes all-natural cat and dog food.

"We're very proud of all the ingredients that go into our food, and we feel that that fresh food makes a big difference for the animals that eat it," owner Lindsey Whalen said. "It helps with allergies, stomach issues and a whole array of other things too."

If you want to try the food out, Pet Wants offers free sample sizes for your dog or cat.
