A local franchisee with Cincinnati-based retailer Pet Wants is targeting a late October opening in East Nashville.
The shop — which will offer natural dog and cat foods and a full line of pet products — will operate from 1,475 square feet at 962 Woodland St. in the recently opened Hill Center Five Points. It will be the first Pet Wants in Tennessee.
Shawna Cohen, the owner and franchisee for the east side Pet Wants, said the move to East Nashville makes sense given the area’s pet-friendly citizenry.
